We acquired this incredibly beautiful silk/rayon 1940s vintage long skirt from an estate that also had 3 Gilbert Adrian vintage dresses. The owner was a buyer for Best Department Store in the 1940s and 1950s and this skirt was saved with the Adrian dresses. Although the only label is one that indicates "FRONT", it must have been made by an important designer or she would not have saved it.

This skirt is a full circle skirt with a patchwork print in primary blue, red and yellow, with touches of green, black and white! It is in mint condition and the hem is lined with 8" of black satin for weight. One side slit pocket and side metal zipper. We estimate this would best fit a modern size 4.
